Meet Brittany Marrero

A woman with long dark brown hair and hoop earrings smiling outdoors in a park on a sunny day.

Nothing brings me more joy and fulfillment than walking alongside people as they find freedom and deep, lasting healing.

I genuinely love what I get to do as a therapist. I consider it a huge honor to be trusted with people’s stories, and I believe our story is one of the most valuable things we have to offer.

Even in the hardest and darkest parts of life, there is still beauty to be found in the restoration.

I don’t believe people are defined by their diagnosis, their trauma, or their hardest moments.

I believe people can fully heal. I believe hope matters. I believe you are capable of more than what you may feel right now.

I don’t see myself as the expert reaching down to help someone behind me. I see therapy as a journey we walk together. I’m here as a guide to help you navigate your healing, but you are the one in the driver’s seat of your story.

My Training & Experience

I earned both a BA in Psychology and a BS in Business Management, followed by my Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Florida. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2018 and have been a Certified Master ART Practitioner since 2019.

I’m also trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and have experience facilitating workshops and classes on parenting, relationships, healing from grief, and overall wellness.

Why This Work Matters to Me

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is not just something I offer professionally. It’s something I deeply believe in.

I’ve experienced this work personally, and I’ve seen it transform the lives of hundreds of clients.

I’ve watched people move from feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or held back — to feeling clear, free, and fully themselves again.

That’s why I do what I do.

When I’m not in session, I’m often leading a community outreach called CareNight, helping provide counseling and resources to people who might not otherwise have access.

I also love writing curriculum, drinking really good coffee, and spending time at a pottery wheel — these are my favorite ways to slow down and reset.

  • "Brittany is one of the kindest and most compassionate clinicians I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Speaking both from personal and professional experience, I know that she is a highly skilled ART practitioner, but what makes her stand out the most is that you can feel the care and warmth that come directly from her heart in the care she provides. When I refer my patients to Brittany, I have full confidence that they will have a positive experience. I’ve seen her clients go from feeling stuck and discouraged to hopeful and having made tangible progress within just a couple of sessions. She is truly a blessing and I’m so grateful for the work that she does."

  • “Brittany is an incredible leader who I have served alongside, and she consistently guides with both compassion and clinical skill. As a fellow therapist, I deeply respect her ability to create a safe, trusting space where individuals feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Her work in community outreach reflects her heart for meeting people where they are, and she brings that same authenticity and dedication into her therapeutic relationships. Brittany is gifted with serving others well. I would confidently recommend her to anyone seeking a thoughtful, trustworthy, and effective therapist.”

If you're looking for a therapist who believes healing is possible, who wants to help you move forward and not stay stuck, and who will approach your story with compassion and hope, I would be honored to work with you.
